harley shuts down buell

hi guys a bit of new info for you.
on the 15th of october harley davidson completely shut down its buell department and is also dropping mv augusta after only just buying it last year at a loss of $125 million.
there will be a real shortage of buell parts in a very short time.

Harley have said they will keep the parts coming. Should be least problematic for the "classic" models with the Sportster-derived engines. Could be more difficult for the newer model. I'll bet MV owners are a lot more worried.

I wonder whether they actually looked for buyers or have found it more convenient to just write them off.
