| New EBC V pads
The back brake on Fat Bobs are crap, barely functional. I had it checked a bit ago at Black Bear cos I wondered if it was faulty. But, no, that's as good as it gets. I have some EBC "HH" brake pads in at the moment. These are about as good as it gets but I knew that EBC did some EP (Extreme Performance) pads too and wondered if these might be better. So I emailed the tech dept because I was wondered whether they wouldn't get hot enough on a street bike to be effective. Here's the reply: Quote:
I've ordered some from the US as they aren't available in the UK yet. I'll post an update when I've tried 'em. |

I could do with something like that in my RK. I put sintered pads in the back, because the rear brake was crap. It's got a brilliant back brake now, but they've eaten the disc up. New disc soon and find out a bit more about these new pads. Brian.
