Re: Remus silencers E- Marked, removable baffles

I have heared them they are louder than my V&H slipons.
I feel comfortable having my V&H with quite baffs loud but nice the Remus without Baffs are louder than my neighborours would like, to me the only benifit is when its MOT time.

Bought my V&H from across the pond at more than half the price.

and that is supposed to be good, is it.

ffs, with that kind of attitude how long is it going to be before we have draconian regulations imposed on us as they do in Germany where every accessory has to be TUV approved.

its fantastic considering people can hear you coming a mile away so theres no chance of being hit by someone that didnt see or hear you...

but point taken about the regulations issue.....however i do think moving forward everything is being regulated anyway, and its only a matter of time before they pick this one up.

Re: Remus silencers E- Marked, removable baffles

i have the remus pipes on my V-rod Dx (satin black ones) thought they had been out ages ? as seen second hand rod's for sale with them on ?

Anyway i love the look and sound these make (sound insert removed) there not too loud but create a lovely sound which is way different to the air cooled V-twin's

air cooled are louder on idle than mine, but mine have a deep sound when running compared to the air cooled.

on recent ride out with lots of HD's all said mine sound great compared to there air cooled , but there's were louder on idle strange but true !
