Wiring Bits n Bobs

I've been doing some wiring mods to my bike recently and got frustrated with the lack of choice of connectors and things at Halfords and other car parts shops. Then I came across the imaginatively named Vehicle Wiring Products who supply a wonderful selection of those funny little bits you never thought anyone would ever bother to sell.

Having placed an order, they sent a copy of their catalogue, which makes great bedtime reading....

I am not connected with them in any way, just a grateful customer!

Yeah I've used them before myself and found them to be very good.

I've used them many times. First few times where OK.
Last order (six months ago) from them was truly poor service.
I ordered a set of maxi fuse holders and they came incomplete. Even after THREE attempts they couldn't get it right.
Pure indifference on the phone and a complete 'I'm not really interested' attitude from them.
Go elsewhere.

Yup, I've used them too. They have all that wonderful stuff that you just can't find anywhere else in the one spot. Bit like the ancient Hardware shop that every town seems to have one of. You know the one, it's been run by a family and handed down for years and it's like going back in time as you pass through the front door.

I know just the sort of place - where they still wear brown coats, like the Two Ronnies 'O' sketch!

Re: Wiring Bits n Bobs

Gimme four candles then...

I had no problems, but I suppose the level of service is directly proportional to how well they sort out a problem.

Great prices for stuff that's expensive to get in a rush if you don't have it in your garage - like adhesive-lined heat shrinkable sleeving, which my garage is now full of, and if I just had a job that needed it...

They do Bowden cables and all sorts of other bike-related stuff too.
