| Hi from another newbie
Hi all great site. I've been watching for a while and thought I should join in. I don't have a Harley yet but am planning to buy in the near future, only trouble is not sure which one. ![]() Have looked at the Street Bob, nearly went for it but it's not really what I want, good price though! Have arranged a test ride at the weekend as I want to find out the difference between Dynas and Softails, maybe you guys, and girls could help. Present bike is an ageing Italian V twin and I need something less painfull on the wrists. |

Hey Mr Fixit; If your handle is correct, why not just fix the bike you have? Just kidding (wouldn't want to distress a newbie), as whatever you do to it, it still won't be a Harley. You need to test a variety of Harley models to see which suits you best. If possible try each one for about 100 miles to get a good feel for it. Discuss them with people on this forum, and (if you can get around the p!ss-taking), you'll find some good advice and counsel. Overall, I think you'll find you came to the right place! |

Hi Mate, Bit quiet in here at the moment due to the fact we're all finding our way around the new site...... Try as many as you can.. most of us have ridden all of the different styles and settled.. I think age has a bearing on it...i'd love a Buell but at 48 it would bloody cripple me!...go for comfort and be realistic about what you want it for....in the end they are all Harleys and they are all equally welcome here, enjoy the site, and enjoy the people, you won't find better! Cyber
