| Birmingham Calling! Hi all, Just come over to the darkside, got a brand spanking new shiny black XL1200C with the Harley tax fully paid. Almost bought a Buell but the missues is too tall to fit, close shave Having a lovely but frustrating time running in, still we're covering about 200+ miles per week so won't be long now. Oh and it's true, you do smile a lot. |

Welcome along. Watch out for the legendary Wyvern Massive, after one of their breakfasts you'll understand where the name comes from. ![]()

| Re: Birmingham Calling!
MjJack, Did indeed buy from Brum HD. Initially went down to look at buying a Buell but they looked totally impratical for two up stuff. Then missus spotted an XL1200C and decided that was the bike we were having and no arguments Managed to get a test ride on a low mileage custom and was totally hooked. To be honest I expected it to be like they were in the 80s (whoops gave my age away a bit there) no stop, no go and no cornering, but found the total opposite. We're now looking forward to putting in a few miles over the course of the next few months including a few meets, so looks like it's time to become a fully paid up member |
