Thumbs up Newbie airing it out might be long sorry

Hello all,
I bought my first(and present Harley) a little over two years ago it is an 98 XL1200C and is Orange and White as I live in East Tennessee,USA that works pretty good( The University of Tennessee Volunteers are orange and white and just down the road from me). I have done a fair bit to it but it was dressed out pretty well when I got it. I have loved and lived HD for as long as I can remember and I guess talked to much about them because my wife told me she wished I would get one so I would hush ( she shouldnt have said that) a couple of weeks later she came home from a short vacation with my daughter and some friends and her spot in the garage was gone HEH HEH.I have put quite a few miles on it and done a fair number of rides, the best being the local memorial ride to honor our VETS. We had just over a thousand bikes on a 2 hour ride with police escort ( love running the red lights) with services at a Vetrans memorial dont tell me bikers wont cry but with good reason, and then back to the local HD dealer to shoot the bull,check out each others rides( of all makes not just HD as it should be with all riders coming together to honor those that paid for our FREEDOMS that we enjoy today) and to eat of course hay riders dont roll by gas alone!! In other words no one has to explain anything to me" Ride to live,Live to Ride" I get the meaning and its always better with friends Old,New and about to be new!!
I hope to enjoy this site for quite awhile,to both help and I'm sure be helped and if there is anyone else in the East, TN area drop me a line maybe we could hook up and ride somtimes.

Praying you all stay Shiny side up,Randoj

Hey Randoj;

You're probably the only person from Tennessee on here, but there are several of us in California, and one of the members just moved to North Carolina. We've also had a few peeps from Texas and Minnesota.

I'm doing the best I can to keep these Brits in line, but they're a feisty lot! Be prepared to have the p!ss taken on you as an American, but most of it's really in good humor (which they're sure to claim you can't understand ), and it's worth the effort for the great technical advice you'll get and the m8's you'll meet here.

As for the Vols; they handled Georgia pretty handily last week, but they still have to face Alabama, LSU and Arkansas. Having lost to Florida, it looks like the SEC title is not going to happen for the Vols, but they should get a good bowl game if they continue winning. (Despite being from Massachusetts, and now living in California, I've always been a fan of the SEC.) If you want to talk real football, we should get a thread going in the beer tent just to rattle these guys' cages! ;)

We were in Tennessee a couple of years ago in Nashville. So you must be near the Great Smoky Mountains?

We are into the New Country Music scene.

Would you like these in your signature and avitar?
