Update 13/03/08 re Sue: A message to all Region 11 M.A.D. Riders from Budgie and Sue.

I emailed Budgie and Sue the day after the wedding Saturday 1st March, asking how it went and offered our Freeway Classifieds adds section to sell Sue's sporty....

Hey Baza

Everything went absolutely brilliantly, the whole day just all slotted in with no hiccups.

To see so many of our friends there who had come from all over was so special.

I will sort out the ad when i get a minute, thanks for that.

Could you also put something on the Region 11 bit of the forum for us.

We want to say a special thank you to all the Region 11 members for their generous gift to us both and for turning up on their bikes to support us at our wedding and a big thanks to Steve for all he has done to help Sue, he will know what i mean.

Sue goes in for an op next Tuesday at Nottingham Queens Med to remove the tumours, they think that they can remove them safely so fingers crossed.

Sue has had surgery today to remove the two tumors, i have spoken to Budgie tonight and everything has gone well and Sue is in good spirit and back on the ward.
Fingers crossed Sue will make a full and fast recovery

Sue came out of hospital on Thursday, two days after the operation and is doing really well, we are going to visit on Sunday and will keep you all posted about Sue's recovery

Kath and myself have been to see Sue today and she is doing really well. Sue is happy to have visitors but obviously she's tired so a phone call before visiting would be a good idea

First off, a big thank you to all of you who have phoned and visited and for all your good wishes in the last few months.

Unfortunately, Sue has gone downhill in the last 2 weeks and after numerous hospital tests we have been told that one of the tumours has returned but that this time it is not suitable for them to operate on it.
Sue has been referred to the Radiotherapy dept at Notts City and we are to attend this Wednesday to see about full head radiotherapy which we hope will be happening in the next 10 days.

Sue was doing so well with her recovery and this setback has knocked us both for six so we are taking everything day by day and praying that this treatment will help Sue in some way.
