Cheers Steve I will do - I had my first (legal) ride out to Matlock Bath etc last week with an old mate ( same model HD too ) but the weather has been awful since.

This is my first bike so my confidence is still low but I'm really enjoying it anyway.

confidence will come with experience, you will be made to feel very welcome with us, rides out are always sedate and we will take into consideration new or inexperienced riders when planning routes. come and meet the gang, meeting nights are all listed, come in the car or on a bus for all i care. i usually leave my bike at home on meeting nights and have a couple of halves of shandy

Hi all

We had a great time at the meeting and it was nice to meet such a friendly bunch. I'm sure me and Steve will be regular visitors...ride back was scary with the fog and a candle for a headlight

Unfortunately I'll miss the rally Im off to China on the 29th and won't be back in time but it'll be nice to see a little warm weather for a few days

I should be at the next meeting in May if only for an hour or so.

House purchase really dragging on and it looks like June before we'll be in. I'll have to wander over from Sheffield and will need to get back early because I set off for work at 4:30am on a Monday morning.

Am hoping to get out to Matlock at some stage over the weekend on the bike, chase a few ricers on the way for amusement.
