Went for a nice ride in the rain this afternoon, not far, just over to Matlock for a bit then home via Darley Dale and Chatsworth. Didn't see one other Harley - where's everyone hiding?

I was out yesterday, took a ride into Nottm to check out Nottingham's own 'London Eye'.
Gave me a chance to 'scrub' new rear tyre in.
Was sunny when i left home, then the rain came.
Had a walk round the town, quick pint in Tap n Tumbler then another wet ride home.
Good riding in the wet eh!! Great fun though.
Cleaned bike in the evening, all ready to go now.

Likewise, got mine clean (well, as clean as it ever gets) after; a good ride but a bit disappointing a little bit of rain keeps so many at home.

Oh well, more room on the roads for us, eh?

spannering for No 1 Son riding at Kings Lynn. Sliding around in the wet with no suspension or brakes .. much like riding a 45, really... love that smell of dope, R and hot wet metal mmmmmmmmmmmm

Stopped at Boongate to jetwash his kevlars and the lump of sticky shale with handlebars hanging on the back... they don't like that much. Jeep needs a bloody good clean-up now, a job for the Polish hand car-wash I suspect.

The rain washed all the bits I couldn't get to then I wiped down the rest.
Its a good way of getting rid of the salt from under the bike!

talking of shale and Kings Lynn, I remember doing one of Pete Boasts' Powerslide days at Kings Lynn four or five years ago. There was a bloke called Randall there, with a really fine XR750.

I've never seen another one in UK and I've not seen him, or the bike, since. I don't know any UK track-racing club that would let you ride it ( except VMCC as a demo, and riding that thing on the grass on a typical VMCC short green-grass circuit, no thanks! )

anyone know anything about this?
