Hi Nog, I have lost contact with a lot of region 11 but at the last 3 meetings i went to i tried to give away 2 free tickets for the national rally and no one was interested in them. Most people i have spoken to are going to Shipley, Give me a ring when you get back to Blighty, i still have the same number, is your number still the same, if not text it to me. Hope to catch you for a beer, dont forget my gallon of rouge.

It's a shame they can't support the Club on just one occasion. But never mind 400 tickets pre-sold so we won't miss a few

Hi Roger,
wasnt looking to be negative, circumstances prevent me from doing any rally that weekend now. The feedback I received from region 11 was that they have been to the last three national rallys at Oswestry and most of region 11 believe that they would have had a better time at a different rally. The facilities at Oswestry i.e toilets, showers, stalls and entertainment were not good to say the least, and reports from rallys such as Shipley have always been very good. I do not think region 11 members want to risk being disappointed at yet another national rally. I fully understand that this is a new venue, but in my opinion I do not think the bands are good enough for a 60th celebration at a national rally. I know from experience that the bands booked for the national are very good, but I for one would expect a little bit more for my money. I sincerely hope for the sake of the club that the national is a success, both in numbers and financially. I hope to see you all in a field next year once normality resumes!!
