AGM ride...meet Scotch Corner 8am Sat

Hey All..

for those who expressed an interest in riding down to the AGM....Chris the Rep and I are gonna meet at Scotch Corner services 8am Saturday. See you there.

I know a couple of you may be going on the Friday, but for those of us who are going Sat morning, maybe post under here if you are a starter?

reminder to **EVERYBODY** reading this who is going to the AGM.

No current membership card, no admittance. There are no exceptions to this rule. I have seen a guy well-known in the club for 15years refused admission cos he did not have his card. He couldn't argue. So don't leave home without it!

Well thanks to Nick and Mick and Hovva and Mal for a great ride down and back, and top company.

We are going to have to head out en masse a little more.......didn't hardly get wet and no breakdowns. My £4 clutch rod passed its first test

I'll post some photos of the AGM in the club section near the end of my late shift......

Did ya not use the rod end from Butler Auto Spares?

I couldn't mate cos the aftermarket factory-spec linkage rod was too short for my custom application. Close but unworkable.

The Butlers joint actually 95% fitted a longer 5mm threaded rod I tried from a fastener specialist (couldnt find any non-metric). But that looked a bit weedy after a trial run so went to 6mm. And bought a 6mm rose joint.
