Re: Sponsorship for the Great North Air Ambulance Thanks to those who sponsored/donated on Tuesday night. I'll hopefully catch up with the remainder at the next meeting which will most likely be my last chance before doing the rides in mid June

Re: Sponsorship for the Great North Air Ambulance Many thanks to all who have donated. Having just been invited to a "must do" corporate thing on the 25th June, I won't be able to attend the meeting immediately after my jaunt but I will catch up with you all as soon as possible afterwards. I'm planning to take an old laptop on my jaunt in an attempt to keep others up to date so I will also try to keep you guys (and girls) informed too. Cheers and see you soon.

Re: Sponsorship for the Great North Air Ambulance Oh well, so much for taking an old laptop, forgot the damn thing!!! I've done all the rides now and covered some 4,040 miles in eight days - what a blast! I've raised close to £2,500 for the Air Ambulance Service too, so all round a worthwhile experience. The corporate thing I'm at on Wednesday actually finishes around 4pm but it's at Silverstone - my plan is to try to make it to the meeting if at all possible, even if I have to come in the car. Hopefully I'll see you there but if not I will drop in to the Rally on the night of Friday 4th July for a brew and a chat. PS the bike ran like a dream and managed around 50mpg throughout.

Re: Sponsorship for the Great North Air Ambulance And just to show that my Guardian Angel was with me on my trip, with just one full tank of petrol under the Ultra's wheels since completing my trek, she only went and picked up a pebble in her final drive belt and snapped it!!!
