F*(k** oil light

Got the bike out to go the work today - called at the garage to fill up for the weekend, it being the North east Rally and all - left the garage - 500 yds down the road the oil pressure warning light comes on - then goes off - on - off - on.

Engine sounds OK - well as OK as it can with loud pipes - so I rides home - only 1/4 mile.

Checks oil - little bit low but not bad - inserts some more oil - no different - puts bike away and goes to work in car.

Hoping it may be a faulty pressure switch - gonna try to get hold of Alice today to bring a new one to the rally - will try removing and cleaning the old one tonight.

If I can't get it fixed, looks like I'll be doing our rally in the car.

Dr Sick as a ****

Re: F*(k** oil light

My oil light kept flickering on and off . . oil levels all OK - changed filter, still the same. Changed the pressure switch (about £11) and as right as rain again.

If it can't be fixed by Gaffer tape or WD40 then it's a female issue :-)
