Hi its keith after last nights meeting and talking about sites for 2009 what dates are the club looking at ? It might of been mentioned but i forgot hic ! If someone can give me dates i will start and ask around cheers folks

Possible dates are up for discussion. We need to stay clear of other northern region rallies such as the Lakes, Yorkshire and Borders rallies as well as popular favorites such as the Farmyard and Stormin the Castle. This cramps the options a bit, especially if possible venue availability is also taken in. At the coming reps meeting we will hopefully get a better view on what rally dates will be which will help.

If we do not go for a full blown rally the we may just go for a more limited camping weekend somewhere.

We can review where we are at after the AGM bits are completed at the next meeting.

Ive asked about the village hall and also local pub in Mickelton regarding a possible rally. My friend is going to ask at the next village meeting, He regually has bands on at the hall { next month its Lime House Lizzy } and there is a field next to the hall and hard standing for bikes. The pub also was available for camping and has toilet ect its also run by bikers. I think if we were to have a run out before the weather gets to bad and have a look as i think it would be a great site . Also my friend said he could sort bands ect out ?

Just a question.

Doesn't the NE Rally alternate with the Region 2's Reivers Rally ?

So in 2009 it should be the Reivers at Langholm then back
to the NE in 2010.

Or has the arrangement changed ?

Next years July rally date is in Scotland. What we are looking at the moment is having a region camping/party weekend at some other date next year.
