Most unfair Hippy, seeing as I have this photo of you forgetting which of the bowler/ball combo is supposed to travel down the lane:

However, this photo, taken by our undercover team of private investigators, does seem to show that you may have something:

This is one of Garry practicing for the WI contest at Scarborough:

And finally, I think when Hippy sent the rules to the North East team, they may have interpreted them slightly wrongly, if this team photo is anything to go by:

I've cleared a space on my mantlepiece for the trophy. Oh, and of course:
good luck......

Bilbo
dont start giving all these Southern Jessies coming to the Bowling a hard time about football as they dont have any proper teams down there in Devon and its not fair ,its bad enough Cliff going to Cornwall to buy his first Harley [oh and the bike didn't have a kick start either]and putting Ketchup on a Cornish Pastie just to show the southerners how hard he was
I think the bowling gonna be a great night

I don't care what you say about our "Southern Jessies" football teams as I can't stand the poxy game, the most important thing is, that we are brave enough to take a 6 hour drive up to see you hard, "northern jessies" just to whoop your ginger ass'es at bowling and drinking and cock wrestling!
I think it should be good fun!
