Plus she has raised £100 for a local animal rescue centre

Ash (my lad) 9.57 Swim, 3rd for his age group on the bike, and 26 minute run. Overall 236th

Oh well looks like we know know what not to do, and are going for Oswestry Tri in July.

Re: Chirk Triathlon

Hey Marcus, well done to the three of you, it's great just to complete it !
Think my cousin was taking part but have not heard any news yet.

Yes it's frustrating when you are competing in something and you are really enjoying yourself and something happens !!!!!!

For years I did enduro's and motocross and have experienced many frustrating "happenings" that prevented good results over the years.
Gotta share the most frustrating one with you, I was riding an enduro in the Ceri Forest, doing very well, my special test times had put me in the lead and all I had to do was keep a clean slate to the finish ............... about a mile from the finish I ran out of petrol !!!!!!! Nuff said !!!! That was over 20 years ago and I still feel the pain and frustration to this day !

Anyway I digress ....... congrats and good luck for the next one.

Re: Chirk Triathlon

Well done all of you! Great achievement

But doing it again ......... ya must be mad! LOL

Did the Dairi-Pak mountain bike challenge one year. Little disconcerting when people are flaking out around you in the heat. Never again! Mind you - would have a hard job pedalling out of the garage these days.

See you Thursday
