John's Accident

Hi Folks

Just got back from the hospital after helping John out after his accident today. He has just joined the club, but has been a friend of mine for a couple of years. He was riding his winter bike a Kawasaki W650 when he either hit black ice or diesel and went for a tumble. He has fractured his thumb and broken a bone in his foot. They tried to set his thumb but could not get it back straight and say he might need an op so are going to keep him in overnight. Thanks to Susie and Al for the kind offer of help/looking after the shop for us. I will keep you all posted.

Hi All

Just had a text from John and they operated this evening. All went well and in the end they didnt have to pin his thumb, so hopefully he will be out tomorrow.
