Region 29 AGM - Sunday February 26th 6.30pm

Hi All

Looking to have the region AGM toward the end of February and propose Sunday February 26th February.

As it worked quite well in the past and is easily accessible by the entire region, we will hold it at the Lord Morton on the Gledrydd rounadabout near Chirk (next to the garden centre) with a start time of 6.30pm.

Main items will be voting on rep and assistant rep(s). Remember that if you want to stand for these positions, you will need someone to second your application.

I will be putting myself forward again as area rep ...... but am happy to make way if someone else wants a crack at it!

Discussions about upcoming events/rallies etc. will also be part of it ..... and want we want to do as a region through out the year. Following on from the success of summer camping at Bishops Castle and Post Xmas Curry night, I think it would be nice to repeat this social occasions .... so all suggestions welcome.

It would be good to do an update on contact info .... if members are willing ... to distribute amongst region members only. I will bring little forms along to be filled out and then consolidate the info before distributing a contact list at a later meeting.

I know a lot of peeps have asked about club merchandise ..... so here's a thought. How about we run a little competition ........ to design a t-shirt for the next set of t-shirts. It some how has to combine designs elements that taken into account both Shropshire and Welsh references. This is open to all region members and their partners ..... so lets see what you guys can come up with! I will post a separate thread on this, as discuss at upcoming meetings. I think an entry date of March 31st gives everyone a chance to get their crayons out? No cash prizes unfortunately ..... ultimately the prize will be that everyone will be wearing your design!

This is your region folks ...... and your chance to have your say on the way it is run. As Mr Scrivener is so fond of saying "Get Involved!". Looking forward to seeing as close to a full turn out as we can manage and plenty of lively chatter

Those gate post always win fella,no prob,will let u know out come,if you want anything said at agm let me know and I'll bring it up on your behalf mark,will put write up on here next week for those that couldn't make it,hope your car gets better soon buddy,lol.
