Lake Vyrnwy

We had a ride up to the lake last weekend. A mate at work recommended it to me as worth a visit. It was perfect weather and the scenery was fantastic. I guess it's old hat to the North Wales contingent but I think it's a real gem of a ride out stop.

Glad you enjoyed it, lovely countryside and some interesting roads.

I was there a couple of months ago with my son, and we rented a couple of push bikes from the coffee shop and rode around the lake, it's much easier with an engine !

We're planning to take the kids up later in the year. I'd like to get on push bikes as well but I think it would be a bit dodgy for my youngest. A picnic is definately on the cards though.
