It's Official...

Yup. It's that time of the year again...

It's SUMMER TIME

I've just got in from another brill mid-week ride,
120 miles of empty roads,
no plod, no caravans and no rain, Fantastic!

Late evenings, ain't they great

Surely I'm not the only one in the region making the most of it? The people riding with me are non-club members and I'm the only Harley, well someone has to keep the end up!

Perhaps it migth be possible to see some of you good peeps on the road,
catch up for a pint and some miles one of these evenings? Go on it'll be Autumn before you know it!

Smiles and miles both in equal measure bud.
Tho gettin' interest from the locals is like prodding a corpse!
Perhaps someone should read the last rites.

Secretly I think they are all meeting up behind my back!
Surely they can't be missing out on perfect riding conditions,
can they???

With the price of fuel I might be forced to,
I think Harley do an official methane converter,
as a bonus it also recycles hot air;
it could be very handy in my case!

Problem with our region Daz is that it's pretty big with few people filling it up.
Just as well I've got my make believe friends!

the only one's who seem to bother anymore!!

Re: It's Official...

Well as long as you are getting out and enjoying the open road that's the main thing. Problem with our region is as I said before, it's big with not a lot of peeps in it. A meeting point more central might be worth considering, Buckley/Mold is a bit to the far, far, far, far North East for most to consider. I dunno how many members we have in our area but damn the roads at the mo are brilliant and it would be great to ride some of them with you guy's. I've been meeting up at the McDoanlds on the Caerwys turn off on the A55 and riding into Snowdonia from there, with the long evenings we got at our disposal we can ride till our eyes bleed.

I don't expect miracles but a couple of ride outs and meets this Summer can't be too much to ask for, surely? See I'm nagging now

Hi Ian, I don't think there has been a region meet this year!?
But keep checking the region for new posts,
hopefully with a good Summer ahead we will all have plenty of opportunities to get out, meet up and ride.

If anyone is heading out on a decent run, evening or weekend then perhaps others can join them if a post is left on the region board.

With Mog and Sue being tied up it might be down to the ordinary members to get off our collective arses and organise ourselves. I'll keep posting what I'm doing and all are welcome to join me on those outings. It'd be good to hear what you lot are doing as well, and I'm happy to meet up and follow others on their favourite ride-outs; just make sure there is a decent pub en-route, what with the hot Summer due I get a terrible thirst!
