Region 29 Merchandise - Get your orders in

Hi All

Good news folks - the logo has been approved by the committee!!

I've been a bit show getting this info on the site because i've been trying to get prices firmed up for products. But finally got there. The following will be available for order:

Mens Black T Shirt - sizes S to XXXL £11.00
Ladies Black T Shirt - sizes 8 to 20 £11.00
Unisex Black Hoodie - sizes S to XXXL £17.00
Embroidered 10cm Sew On Badge - £8.00

If you are interested in ordering any of the above, please PM me with quantities and sizes. I will then PM you back with details of where to send the money (postal orders or cheques please/or cash if you see me in person)
Only orders accompanied by payment will be accepted and processed - sorry

BTW - should have a t-shirt sample for the Lakes rally this weekend, so you'll be able to see what they'll look like.

Cheers
Ruth

As we voted in a regional rep shouln't all orders for regional products be ordered through the rep Susie Roberts?

It just seems we're getting away from how the region is run as part of a national club.

Re: Region 29 Merchandise - Get your orders in

Since Ruth has been the driving force behind this whole idea and has got up and sorted it all out and she is still willing to take the hastle of processing orders etc. I say fair play to her.

Let those who are willing to do a task well, do it.
If Sue had driven the idea and sorted out the design, the products and the prices it would be natural for her to have all the details for prices, suppliers etc. in which case it would be an additional task for her to perform.

As it is Ruth is behind this so where's the problem in allowing someone with a damn good idea, the energy and the drive, to see it through to the end. It's a bit ungracious criticising someone for doing a bloody good job IMHO.

There was no criticisim intended, I think its great that somebody is prepared to do something, its just protocol.

Its the way it is done in other regions, otherwise anybody club start getting club products produced, thats why national club products have to be ordered through Mitzi.

As I said no criticism intended.

Dave mate, I've looked at your original post again-
I've stared at it, walked away slowly and run back to the screen to try and surprise it. I've gone cross-eyed trying to stare through it, I've been outside for a fag and come back all laid back then looked at your post again and no matter which way I look at it mate it still looks like criticism to me.

Saying that you think something should be done another way to the way it is being done is criticism pure and simple, it's the plainest defenition to me.

Anyways it don't matter how it's done elsewhere,
all that matters is that we know we've got the right man for this particular job!

Re: Region 29 Merchandise - Get your orders in

Don't worry Kib i'm sure it's ok for Ruth to deal with the merchandise for our region...after all she has done all the hard work to get it sorted!!
I'm just a little concerned by the tone of some of the comments lately that maybe someone doesn't think i'm up to doing the reps job anymore!! Maybe i'm being over sensative, although a few committee members also voiced their concerns that "I should watch my back" last weekend! I think it should be remembered that iv'e been pushing for merchandise an trying to get meetings running regularly with Mog for the last 6 years..we even went so far as to look at the cost etc an designs for patches 5 years ago but when push came to shove nobody wanted to put their money where there mouth was!! Folks are all interested and want to join in an then when it comes down to actually doing it, their knowhere to be seen....Jon's Mayhem weekend being a prime example!! I think it's fab that Ruth has gone to all this trouble for the region, as it stands at the mo I wouldn't have had the time to organise it as most of you are aware it's been a most difficult 8 months for me and my loved ones with my health and other personal problems! But were finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and I for one want to see this region build in numbers with regular meetings and rideouts etc. This isn't a recent problem it's always been difficult to get folks to the meetings, and not just for Mog and I either, talking to the last Rep Andy at the Lakes and he always had the same problem!!
Iv'e arranged a meeting for next Thursday, lets see how many folks turn up, and before there is any comments about it being near my house and other folks have further to travel...I will be travelling from Wallasey and so too will have a 60 odd mile round trip!! So there!! lol
What I would say is that I was voted by you all that attended the meeting to decide who would take over as rep from Mog, if anyone has a problem then please contact me privatly so that it can be sorted out!
Thanks for your hard work Ruth...I look forward to wearing my hoody, and thanks again for voicing your concerns Kib, if you fancy another coffee and some peace and quiet call around again soon!!! lol

Susie xx
