I'll keep an eye out on the weather for tomorrow,
and as I'm now 'officially' on my holiday I can do as I damn well please.
But since that gimp in the Met Office got it wrong-
I might be spending another day sorting out the crap in the forthcoming nursery!

It's blowing a gale here in Conwy as I type,
so I ain't holding out much hope for tomorrow. sigh.

I'm just praying for some dry weather for my week in Porthmadog.

Hope some of you managed to get there. I chickened out on Saturday cos of the drizzle.

You were right Sam. Alderney is beautiful. Saw the ganet colony (smelly & loud), had a look at some of the fortifications (did know that it was Nazi occupied in 2nd world war and even housed a death camp!), swam in the sea, enjoyed the hospitality and great food.

Even got to fly the plane a little on the way back - did Bristol to Shrewsbury. Very nerve wracking!

where about in llangollen is it.? i know where the ponderosa caf'e is, ill be leaving st helens (the millenium caf'e) around 10:15 am is anyone fancies a ride (sunday)
