Penrith Carnival, May 1st - Details

The organisers of the Penrith Carnival have sent a reminder about the day Monday 1st May Bank Holiday. As per last year we need to have the bikes parked up along Middlegate near the cinema in Penrith by 11.00am when they close the roads. At 2.00pm we move off to congregate with the floats and other organisations at Ullswater Community College ready for the off at 2.30pm.

Those who are booking hotel/B&B accommodation for Sunday night should do so ASAP as this is a popular weekend. The rest of us will have an early start and make our own way, and also as last year some of us will probably arrange to meet at service stations up the M6. Again we will have the Ride for life buckets out so lets see if we can beat last years total of £127 in loose change .

Names I have so far are:
Zack, Logo, The Terrors, Boogiefool, Devil UK (& Caz), FXSTC Dave, Batman (& Robin), Kev Whelan (& Sue), Olga, Kyranerys-Jat, Ruky, Pineapple, Harleyfatboy 7 (& Elaine), Harley Derek (& Andrea, if his chop is built!!)
If anyone on the list needs to drop out, please let me know. Likewise if anyone else wants to join in the fun, just add a reply.

It's gonna be another great/fun day. Lets just make sure and bring some sun-block this time for the procession, and some decent waterproofs for the journey home;) .

Hi Rod, sorry mate but Andrea & I won't be there this year I'm afraid.
As of today, I no longer have the FXR, it's sold!
The new project is not yet built and I probably won't even be in the country on May day, looking like I'll be flying off on Monday 24th for warmer climes.
Hope everything goes well for you and that it's an even bigger success than last year!

Sorry John we won't be there either, TF has work commitments this year so no playing for us for a while.
