Ian & I have just got back from the NCC Shires Rally as well. We also had a brilliant time - the best rally we have been to in ages - Just how a Rally should be run. Cheap beer, reasonably priced food, great welcoming atmosphere, all day entertainment, Superb bands, & very reasonably priced entrance It is the first NCC do that I have been to with Ian & didn't know quite what to expect. It certainly won't be the last. We are off to the next one in two weeks time. These guys certainly know how to do things perhaps a few others should take a leaf out of their book. |

They had there own security, which you would expect any way but what i liked was that they did not walk around in there back patch but all the members that were on security wore orange tee shirts with security on so you knew who they were and it was not intimidating.I spoke to some of the lads and they tell me that if you want to do catering on there partys or rallys the prices have got to be reasonable as not to rip any one off, more money for beer .It does help when you have got the prospects working there bol...s off all week end though doing every thing from working behind the bar to keeping the site clean.I did see a few tables of riders club partying and i bet there where some poorly heads to day

Sorry we missed the Terrors et al, we was there on saturday, maybe next year.It was nice to see Si and Trace, both smelling sweet;) and of course the ever loving Pippin. I'm not a rally type person, but I've done this rally for the last 4 years because its so good and its a credit to the Chopper Club.Well done Ted etc.

Sorry we missed you John, we had loads of work to do so we decided on the last minute to go. We got to the site about 7.30pm and after being made very welcome we were charged £5 each to stay overnight as it was so late by not being ripped off they will cream back the money 10 fold ;) as you know the best advertising is word of mouth I for one will sing their praises TC...thankful for the 20 mile ride home with a sore head |
