T-Storm today!

Hello all,

Anyone from near Westhoughton? On my way to a relatives tonight I got caught in a thunder storm, got soaked! The bike was filthy! Two Harley riders were waiting out the rain out under a bridge at junction 4 M61, was it you? I was gonna stop any say hello but a cup of tea was 10 minutes away!

I learnt two things in the torrential rain though, 1. I dont like riding in the rain but it isn't as scary as I used to think (wouldn't dare ride in the wet on the Ducati I had prev) and 2. My Boots aren't waterproof!

I was riding in my jeans with a passenger and was just arriving at Rivington Barn when the heavens opened. Half an hour over a brew with the bike strategically parked under a tree and away we went. Got home to Blackburn and the wife described sheet lightning and thunder storms while we'd been away and was surprised how dry we were.
It wasn't me under the bridge though.

I live in Adlington, next to rivington and my g/friend didn't see any rain, guess she was right on the edge of it!
