I think I've got time off for good behaviour, so will be there - don't know how far it is but it's probably the longest run I've had on the bike this year. Fuel stops every hour, but it gives the backside a break .

Not sure what happened but there seemed to be a whole lot of good folk missing from Mike's farm Party. I was the only NWester among the many friends there and had a solitary ride back home in the wet, after you lot left me in the lurch.
What a bloody good do it was though, well organised and everyone very friendly and helpful. Friendly and helpful enough to carry this sleeping cider-sodden drunk back up the road to his tent after he was found sleeping in the sawdust.
Well worth the long run and the damp weather if anyone fancies making a go of it next year.

I know what you mean RB. If it hadn't been for Kim, I would have been the only Yorkie there (and I'm not even a member anymore). Looking back at all the previous threads, there were supposed to be so many people going to Mike's even by car. the turnout was poor. Shame on them all! ;)

Anyway, John it is their loss. What with the free cider and all, which you know all about oh 'sawdust one'.
