Maybe the club would like to do some events with this in mind. Remember those who have served and those who still serve. Food for thought. Glad you had a good trip and didnt get your feet wet.

You are right Steve, this charity doesn't get the publicity it deserves In my previous job I called upon the legion to help ex servicemen who had fallen on hard times, they did so much to help like paying a deposit and 6 months rent to help with homelessness, supplying furniture and help with paying for courses to help get them back into work, this is the only charity that people will cross the street to give to;) and on that note, are we going to do something to to help with the poppy appeal? we are up for it, maybe if a few of us gather somewhere on the bikes to collect it could be a way of collecting quite a bit of cash and have a laugh at the same time any ideas Ray?

I've been most impressed Ray reading through your endeavours. It makes inspiring reading. I know my old dad was helped by the RBL and supportred them himself when he was able. Well done, mate.
