Anyone going to the Lakes rally this weekend?

Hi Ruth,
The people that I know of that are going are John and Ann, Tex and Val, Alan, Elvis, Dave, Nev, Gordon, possibly Paul and Sue and I have heard Rod Bod is re entering Northern territory, also Maggie and Me.
We hope to see all the familiar faces there and sink a few beers and have a bop and hope the weather brightens up.
I can only speak for the the people mentioned as I have seen them recently, as I am sure there are many others in the North West that will be going and will post on here accordingly, roll on Friday.

Have not really had time to search forum as I need to get back to work..can anyone give me the details of the Lakes Rally as it looks like we may be getting a free weekend (or at least I might) and we were looking for somewhere to go.

Mr Shrew, just take the M6 to J36 and follow signs to Kirkby Lonsdale, and as you approach the town turn left after a BP garage on the right. The rally is at the rugby club which isn't best signposted, but follow the H-D markers or ask one of the locals and you'll find it.

Its good to hear there's so many from NW heading up there for the weekend. It will be good meeting up with everyone again. You're going to have best region turnout while I win furthest travelled, lol. Me and Claire aren't arriving till Saturday but will be there for the rideout.

Thanks for directions but yet again another Rally missed Linda's on call (in fact she's out now out some poor 15 year old kid whose just been kicked out of his home, been out for 6 hours now with the cops, so she wont be ready to go in the morning, and I have a massive report to writeYet another great weekend of not much riding and not much fun Both need a change of careers

And if anyone feels like replying saying something like well at least you have a job Please don't. Apart from the London Custom show (thanks to Baza for his ticket) we have been no where, and got very little riding And it keeps f***ing raining Moan over. Hope you all have a great time at the lakes. maybe next year
