Re: Rideout this Sunday.

Hi Marlboro Man.

If you have Google Earth just type it in and it will find it for you.
Its to the right of the M6 past the M55 turn off and goes on up to Lancaster.

I get to it via J31a of the M6, other routes are available.

If you are free on Sunday, how about I ride through it? via Slaidburn
for a drink.

Basically if you want, we can meet at the Rivington Services just after
J6 M61, (the Reebok Stadium), so you can top up just Sportsters tank
and I'll top up mine.

Then up the M61 to the M6 and off at J31a then just follow me to Slaidburn.
We double back to the ToB then up it to Lancaster then turn around and do it
in reverse, then back the the M6 and home.

Its about 100 miles or so.

So all we need is a meeting time say; 12.00-12.30 pm at the services?

If anyone else wants to come along, the more the merrier.

Re: Rideout this Sunday.

Hi BigMark.

What time are you talking about ?

As the ride is not not long as the first and last 20 miles are motorways.
Plus the stop at Slaidburn.

I think the best time would to be at the Rivington Services for say between 11.00am -12.00pm.
This allows those who are coming to get there, (the early ones) to grab a tea/coffee and the
late ones (me) just to turn up go and fill up before we set off.

So if you want to come along, just be at the services between 11am
and noon.

Re: Rideout this Sunday.

Got my two teenage daughters with me this weekend so spent today cleaning bike after our Essex trip and cars (not sure why) did shopping and cooked loads.

SO I says to Linda how about we take the girls to the seaside on Sunday, and the dog of course which means that I cant fit into her Jimny so I will have to ride me bike. So I guess on the way ta Barmouth tomorrow we will have to stop at the Ponderossa (what do ya mean its not on the way of course it is) So may see some of you guys up there or if to early maybe not
