Hi all,

Live in the Tameside area and have had sports bikes all the time so far,
I am just in the process of selling my current bike (2003 Kawasaki ZZR1200)
and am due to goto the states in sept 2011 with 3 friends hiring harley's and
riding route 66!

After which I will be looking at purchasing a harley at Manchester Harley.
I fancy either a fatboy or a softail heritage classic.

Hope I am made to feel welcome here and into the world of the harley davidson

Welcome. Done route 66 last September with a few members from this site. All i will say your in for a treat. Best trip i ever done.

Your getting an harley its your choice but even the priory can,t cure it when youv,e had your first fix ....................

Hi and welcome to the Region, I organised a route 66 trip last year, but had a stroke in July and unfortunatley could not go, 8 others did go though and could probably tell you a few do's and don'ts. feel free to come down to the Regional meetings 1st Wednesday of month in the Cheadle Hulme Pub. 8 onwards and people should put you right about your venture and also tell you what rallies we are going on ect,ect,
Prior to the next meeting I know some of the NW members are going to Talgarth, not me as I have a family wedding to attend. but will be at Matlock the week after. possibly will be going to Stafford Classic Show on the Sunday if sober after wedding, maybe on my zzr100. all the membership gumph is available at the regional meetings.
once again welcome and hope to see you around sometime, feel free to come to the meetings on anything you like most of us have other stuff as well as the Harley.
