June Meeting is Wednesday 3rd June, Cheadle Hulme Pub 8 0'clock onwards, in the meeting room overlooking pub car park.
Well dissapointed the Lincoln do is cancelled as we had a good few up for going. Roll on Devon!

Re: June Meeting

Hi Giles.

Welcome to Region 6.

So what area are you from and what bike have you ?

Have a look at my link for ideas of rallies and rideouts.

http://www.harley-davidson-hangout.c...ts-2009-a.html

The first 4 have gone but there's still the Lakes rally and the
International in August.

For rideouts see the list at the bottom on the link above.

I've been putting it up for several years and usually get no response,
so I end up riding alone.

Had a nice ride on the 31st May; to Llandudno, then home via
Betws-y-Coed and Llangollen, 238 miles, great day out.

Re: June Meeting

Hi.

You are better off looking at Region 4 section; the Lakes as they cover that area.

They are holding their rally from the 10th - 13th July at Kirby Lonsdale.

Also PM Hippy or HarleyFatboy7 for info on outings, etc.

Cool Re: June Meeting

Thanks for the reply FXSTC Dave.

Just moved back to Wigan after 11 years abroad, the last 6 being in USA. (Im sure your asking why I came back to sunny Wigan ... Im trying to figure out this one to....

I have a 1998 Fat boy, although it doesnt look much like a fat boy now (pictures on my profile - cant figure out how to load them up on this one)

Just managed to get it registered in the UK, thanks to the HogDoctor in Heywood and a number of fully patched bikers I met in manchester who were actually very helpful when I explained that HD UK felt my bike would need significant work to get it legal for the UK and as there bikes had similair modifications how did they get an MOT cert... so just got it back for the summer riding season.

Will have a look at the rideout lists you sent.

Cheers

G

Re: June Meeting

Hi Giles
Just got back from the Devon Rally at the River Dart Country Park, really top do, did not see your post until now as I broke the journey to Devon up a bit by going last thurday and comiming back today as I cannot yet do all the miles in 1 day as still not fully recovered from my stroke, as Dave has said he has for the last few years put up ideas for ride outs, some good ones at that, but most of the people that turn out at the meetings are Rally types and that is what we talk about and do most of, the next 2 That I will be doing are the Scotland one and the Lakes one which are on consecutive weeks early in July, We do have a meeting on the 1st of July where this will probably have the final details of who is and is not going out of our group, so feel free to come down or post anyting on here that you feel relevant Cheers Halfwrecked
