Highland Classic Motorcyle Club Rally

The Highland Classic Motorcycle Club has its annual Loch Ness Rally this Sunday (10 June 2012) at Fairways, Inverness, just along the Distributor Road from Inshes retail park.
Classic bikes on display from 11.00am and then a run around the loch at Noon with a meal, prize presentations and raffle afterwards.

Haven't had time to get my 1981 Kawasaki MOT'd, so I'll just be going along on one of those Harley thingies......

May see anyone/all of you/nobody there..??

Excellent day out. Met a guy called Nick, who knows Chris Jones from Fort William. He was here on this 1958 Sportster - what an absolute beauty (he was also at the Vintage & Sportster - but on a different bike)



Then we went for a run around Loch Ness, stopping for lunch in Fort Augustus, for a photo at Suidhe Veiwpoint, and then back to my place for tea/coffee and a final chat. Great day.

That was a good day out, took my 1977 XLCR and it made it there and back, though my mates trident got stuck in 5th gear just as we got to inverness. Cracking run round loch ness.
