Re: Membership

I have not made it along to a meeting as yet but hopefully I will soon as
things are settling down for me.

However I do see the odd Harley about in this corner of Aberdeenshire,
hopefully I will make it to the next meeting.

I also missed this month's. Set off for Olmeldrum from Bridge of Don and made it as far a Newmachar when the mobile went off. Had to return to work to sort out some sh*te.

I will try and get to the November meet, but I have to admit I am not confident about those roads in the dark. May sound wimpy, but I've been up that road a few times in the car on business and I have felt a few nasty pieces that wouldn't have been too good on the bike. I came off a couple of months ago, 3 days after getting my sporty 883, so it could be that my arse is falling out when faced with a bit of uncertainty. I know it will pass, but just not sure for now, especcially on the poorly lit roads and the way the shire council looks after roads, it's no wonder there have been so many 'incidents'. Doesn't help with the wife saying " now take care " all the time.

Anyway, enough of my wimpering, congrats on the membership coming through and good luck in whatever is your thing

All the best

Huff (Steve)

Re: Membership

Huff n Puff
Sorry for not replying earlier but I was on weeks holiday.

I will make a point of going to the meeting in November, so I will see you there all going well.

I am hoping to get another few runs before the salt goes down.
