Hi Folks,Sent off membership form a week ago,bought a Sportster a couple of months ago,thought it was time to get in touch with other Harley riders in the North East.I stay 6miles north east of keith,have been riding mostly British,German and Guzzi bikes these past 30 odd years,but got the urge for a Harley after riding my mate Joe from Rothes,s Harley.
Made a few changes to my 96 1200 sportster S,I bought it in Watford North London, and rode it home to Keith with an overnight stop near Settle .The ride home showed up a few problems with the riding position,hence the changes to forward controls and Fatboy bars.
Hope to meet up with other enthusiasts once the salt on the roads subsides a bit,

I live in Watford was it from the now closed III Rivers H-D dealer?

Anyhows welcome again and meet up with your locals they are a great bunch.

I am a recently joined member myself, I have found the people
here friendly and very helpfull.

Enjoy your sportster I had one and it was one of my favourite bikes ever.

Yes mate long ride,O.K. when I got clear of English motorways,just b**dy cold over the mountains to Aviemore. Got the bike from those nice chaps at Fullbore

Welcome Gas Axe from the Coasters AKA Region 18. No doubt we will see you somewhere, make an effort to get to Oswestry for the National Rally, good craic. Oh yes and beware of your Southern Scottish brothers, a real motley crue, particularly that Dantheman geezer ;)
