Just ordered bits from Guernsey Harley and didnot have to pay VAT.

Bit of a saving.

Anyone else used them?

Me too, and it's great when they screw up and send you the wrong oil, so you get another load free...
I just use them for Genuine H-D consumables, and get other parts from the States or Indies. Difficult to bring a few gallons of oil back in your suitcase.
BTW - they are not VAT feree: you are evading duty, but they do agree to apy it if the shipment gets hit, although I've never put that to the test.....

Normally ring guernsey then haggle with my local dealer?

amazing how close they get to the guernsey price and then if i have a problem i know where to go back too

yup i have used them quite a lot they even gave me a free parts catalogue i was well impressed

i have been quoted £580 for a set of V&H big shots from my dealer where a link on guernsey's website came up with £440!!!without paying VAT or postage!!!
i have tried "haggling" but you know yourself its like getting blood out of a stone.

Get to know who in parts is in charge and then treat them like any friend?


i always have a good banter with any dealerships be it merc/bmw/harley and always get a good disount but i know when i'm taking the @@@@
