Bit torn on this I enjoy the long distance ride to Aviemore, but feel compelled to go to Os, been the last two years... enjoyed them.

But a chance to ride thru Scotland is hard one to miss out on...

Re: Thunder In The Glens

If you have a ticket already Brigger, I'll be sticking the tartan ribbon on to your pin tomorrow night. Amazing all the little things that need to be done....
TITG will be the biggest ever this year, with over 1000 already pre-registered. Because of that, for the first time there will be satellite venues, with the bigger bands in the main hall, and two separate spaces which will be a country venue and a blues venue. The big hall has a capacity limit for the fire regulations, and can't take the number of people who will turn up. Also, many people prefer somewhere a bit smaller, and the smaller bands.
I promise to meet up with people every year, and it never happens. It's just too big, with too much going on...

You can see the venue flyers on here.

It's a shame it always clashes with Os , but can't miss our local rally... and can't be two places at the same time...
Hope you enjoy it.

Re: Thunder In The Glens

It is a pity we have such date clashes. I went to Os in 07 and had a great time though that clashed with Shipley which I normally attend and which most of my long term Harley Rider mates go too. Thunder in the Glens is perhaps the best option as it is the only major event North of the Border this year. Perhaps I will attend all 3 on a tri-annual basis unless I attend Os on Thursday, Shipley Friday and The Glens Saturday.
