Gogsy - not interested in getting personal on this one, and I've no axe to grind with you - my post was put up purely to spark a reaction (and it got a good one from Stuarty with plenty for people to discuss and maybe reply to) and hopefully it will help to rekindle the flame in Scotland, particularly the North.

Obviously I'm not expressing myself very well on Forums this week.

I'm very pleased for everyone in Region 2 that you and they have had some fantastic activites taking place. And I sincerely wish you guys and gals all the best for the future.

If as a result of this thread, just one additional thing happens in Region 1 in the coming months, then that will be great.

We've a long winter ahead of us, and I'm sure we'll all have Cabin Fever by the spring

so now is not the time for us all to fall out

have you thought of phoning the rep / assistant rep(s) to find out what happens where and getting involved that way ?

OK folks - lets disregard all the previous posts in this thread - including mine.

Where do we go from here.?

Relpies to the following are welcome:

How many members are there in Region 1.?
Why not say hello.?
Is anyone interested in moving Region 1 forward.?
Should we make a more central meeting point which would make us all change our "comfortable routine".?
Do we want to show our allegiance to the Club.?
How can we encourage more of our "friends" to become members.?
What will we tell them is "in it for them".?

I would seriously like this thread to demonstrate our commitment to HDRCGB.

Even if it is only a 1-liner - please make yourself known.
