Hello I'm Mags from East London-will let you know next time I'm in the area-which hopefully will be next year, if I save me pennies

Re: Hello Boys 'n' Girls

Apparently Crow won't join HDRCGB because he says there is nothing happening in his area, North Scotland, North of Inverness.

That is exactly the type of statement that this thread is hopefully going to address.

I want anyone who feels that way to make contact.

There may be many out there who feel they are on their own, and alone in thinking that way. If there are, and this Thread brings these riders to the surface, then hopefully we can do something about it, turn our Region around, and become a cohesive unit.

So if anyone else feels the way Crow does - now is the time to make yourself heard.

So far it's HogHog, Fearghas, and Crow (non-members at present) from Region 1 and Gogsy and Stuarty from Region 2 that would like to see things happening in Region 1.

So lets be hearing from more members or future members from Region 1 - North Scotland.

I think he is being a bit unfair, give the Region a chance to grow, join in and be part of it.

Relpies to the following are welcome:

How many members are there in Region 1.?
Why not say hello.?
Is anyone interested in moving Region 1 forward.?
Should we make a more central meeting point which would make us all change our "comfortable routine".?
Do we want to show our allegiance to the Club.?
How can we encourage more of our "friends" to become members.?
What will we tell them is "in it for them".?

I would seriously like this thread to demonstrate our commitment to HDRCGB.

Even if it is only a 1-liner - please make yourself known.
Hi,
I don't think you'll get any quick answers from the guys up there as the posts historically are a bit sporadic in Reg.1 thats with absolutely no disrespect to anybody , thats just the way it is.

Some regions down south are more active due to the close proximity of their members which makes it easier for them to meet regularilly.

I try to juggle what time I have with Region 2 events but if I can't make something then thats tough luck and I try and make the next one.

If theres not enuff action for you in Region 1 then try and branch out to meet other regions members. e.g. I met up with some North East guys last weekend for a few beerz and camped overnite Sat. had a blast
So don't expect to change things too quickly as it will take time, meanwhile get on yer bike and just ride it is my advise Rome wasn't built in a day
