1200 sportster cylinder barrel.

Hi Guys
I have damaged barrels on my 97 sportster, the damage is to the alloy only and as used 1200 barrels seem never to come up for sale does anybody know if the 1200 sleeves can be fitted into the 883 barrel?
If they can does anyone have a pair of black and polished type barrels, maybe damaged on the sleeves?

You might do better in Sportster section.Baza will prob move.
Think you can just bore out 883's.

Hi, if you have any more tech questions put them in the sportster section of the tech area.
In answer to you question: The sleeves/liners are fixed in and can't be removed. You may find it easier to get a set of 883 barrels and as Limey Dave said, get them bored out to 1200. have a look on ebay there might be some there or the classifieds section on this site.
