missing posts in Tech Tips

Chaps, Tech Tips is now down to 3 pages instead of six (i think it was).

Any sightings of the missing info? My charging system has packed up and I was just going to refresh my memory regarding stator resistance.....but could not find my own post from about 18 months back titled Troubleshooting Your Charging System!

Re: missing posts in Tech Tips

.....not least because that American Iron file is partly helpful but also assumes if you get good AC voltage from the alternator, then the alternator is OK.

NOPE. it could still be shorted........

Delved into the vaults - now sorted. Anything else while I'm at it?

Re: missing posts in Tech Tips

I've been havig problems locating various older posts via the search function too. It doesn't seem to pick up anything older than 2006, and if you search for things you know are there it might come up with nothing at all. Tried searching for 'oil' and 'metzeler' for a year ago and older, and got next to nothing in TC88. I know there's a lot more than that...
Or is there an archive with all the old stuff in it?
