Post approval

I've noticed that posts on some of the boards need to be approved before they appear. Does this only apply to newly-registered forum members, or is it a standard thing on certain boards?

Shifty your first post went to moderation as your site user account had not yet been ratified.

There are some sections that whenever anyone posts a thread they need approval from a mod.

Like our Remember, suppliers section and the news desk.

That'll be it, it was the Remember post I was thinking of mainly.

I do think it's a good idea - obviously a well-moderated forum.
