Editing Posts

I am getting hacked off with this! Having written a reply to a post I decided to edit it to add a few words. Despite doing this straight away, I got the following message:

"You do not have permission to perform this action. Please refresh the page and login before trying again."

I have logged out and back in three times and got the same response. I give up!

What is going on?

After all, I have been able to write this new message....

Re: Editing Posts

Hey Roger, could you also explain how to delete my own posts please? There have been times when it would have been useful

An explanation on here might be helpful to others also.

Re: Editing Posts

oddly i have had that message "You do not have permission to perform this action. Please refresh the page and login before trying again." a couple of times last night when i was posting so i 'cut' the message, refreshed and 'pasted' it into another post but befor i sent it i launched another copy of ie7 and checked the website again and the post was there!! otherwise everything seems to be normal.
just one of those strange little software quirks that make things interesting.

Re: Editing Posts

Works fine, I've just tried it on the test account (above) that has the same priviledges. So I'm a bit stumped

You get used to that feeling when dealing with computers. WellI have anyway.

Re: Editing Posts

Well I went away and had a really good sulk for a while and that seems to have done the trick! Just managed to edit the post I referred to first go. Is this website using Microsoft software by any chance?!
