Re: Membership Renewal

Nog read my post a couple back...It works 100% if you do it right mate.

If you follow the instructions and keep filling in the little box on the left every time you make a mistake. Loads have joined and rejoined. Loads have said they can't...... then said they have done it.

Ring me and I'll go through it with you if you want. 0044 (0) 1923 256 462

It's like internet banking if you forget or do it slightly wrong you can't get in.

It's not forum security it's your paypal/visa security level.

Kev try it later it was fine last night but I can't even load the page myself this morning so obviously there is a gremlin in the server.

Re: On line renewal page "Times out"

Don't worry your not the only one with problems, I have emailed for help twice now without any response/help at all,

I'm sure people will not join because of this!!

I'll do it by snail mail if I have the time in the next week or so, if I can be bothered.

Re: On line renewal page "Times out"

Thanks for the positive vibes Dave! Roger is away and I am here under pressure without all the facilities that Roger can do!

The server is playing up, loads of people can't remember what password they used last year and are saying it ain't working where in truth it works fine for those that do it correctly as you will see (other posts) when I move this thread to the correct section.

Jeez givvas a chance mate it's a time consuming job this and you have no idea how many pm's and emails I get asking for help because at the end of the day the form is not being filled in properly.

Example is that if your PC fills in passwords automatically on the form you can't see if it's the correct one because it is black spots and there is a box to fill in EACH time it is cocked up on the left where you have to copy letters.

This is all tight security as it is when you log on to your internet banking.

If you cock that up you have to wait for snail mail for your new password/number etc.

See another 10 minutes of my life gone!

I just did a snail mail for one of our ex pats last night what's the problem?

Lucky I can be bothered eh?

Re: Membership Renewal

There is always the chance that the password has been sent to peeps via Roger (poss automaticly?) and has gone into peoples spam folder it does happen.

I was waiting for an email from a tour company the other day for fecking ages and rang them full on!..... and they said look in Spam!...I had been sitting on it for 3/4 of an hour.
