| Renewing your membership? Renewing your membership? The new membership cards have arrived. I'll start working on printing them tomorrow. I hope to start posting them out between Christmas & the New Year. If you haven't already rejoined, you need to click this link, or go to the Join Online button higher up this page. When you fill in the form, and pay, you'll receive a confirmation email saying we've received your payment. If you don't get one, check your spam folder. If you didn't get one, it's almost certain you used an invalid email address. As this is a new system, you have to imagine you've never been a member before. Any previously used email or password is NOT currently stored on this system. You can use your old details, but you will need to tell the system what they are/were. Currently, it only knows your names (first and last) and your membership number. Some people (very few, luckily for my sanity) have had problems rejoining. Most of those problems are very easy to rectify, and most have either been inputting incorrect names and/or membership number. These details have to be the same as on your membership card. Your membership number will be 6 digits. You should NOT add the - 2012 (or earlier) at the end of your number. When rejoining, there's a tick box referring to Full Member. This has to be ticked, otherwise it'll charge you a joining fee. There's a verification box, showing 6 figures; letters and/or numbers. These need to be copied verbatim. If a letter is in upper case, that's how you need to type it. If you can't read the figures, you can refresh them until you can decipher them , by clicking the little refresh box off to the side. If you get to the pay by paypal stage, and it asks for a joining fee, you've either put in incorrect data, or your membership expired at the end of 2011 or earlier, and you'll need to pay that fee, and you'll get a new number, losing your previous membership number. If you want to keep an old number, you'll need to let me know and pay for any years missed since you were last a member. Once you have rejoined, you'll be able to make amendments yourself to your details, for instance if you move or have a new phone number. If you're having problems joining, please contact me through the membership link, or find my mobile number in the Quin and call me (not after 10pm please). Please, please, please put a contact number in your message. If all else fails, and it keeps adding the £10 joining fee, pay that too and once I've sorted out the problem, I'll refund it back to you through paypal.
