New threads/replies

OK, minor annoyance; why does the left-hand column, which should show new posts since I last looked, behave completely randomly in that it shows some new posts/threads but not others? Annoying to have to check time/date of everything posted instead of just looking for 'new' symbol.

I use the 'New Posts' filter above. Fortunately the level of traffic is not so great that the results are manageable.

Well, Roger, either you fixed it PDQ or the mere threat of your attention scared it into submission 'cos it's working again. Wasn't yesterday, was the day before...
Thanks Graham, not used that before; it does the job. I suppose I just get annoyed when something doesn't do what I expect it to; you'd think I was used to that at my age...
