Events listing

Is there any way that both club events & local events could be listed in a more methodical way, i keep finding that I've missed something going on not far away from me & unless you scrutinise every post in lots of different threads, people will continue to miss them?
It would help if they were listed in date order followed by the Town that they are at.
Maybe it's worse for me as i seem to be in the middle of a lot of area divisions.
I know this would take a bit of time to sort out & that the site is run by volunteers, but it's just an observation that would enhance the club forum i feel.
what do you think?

Re: Events listing

There is a section for events and an events dairy, but it's up to the event's organiser to post it there

Steve without Roger and me being like mother hens to people that don't navigate the site the answer is no.

If you want to know what is going on in a certain area of where you live YOU decide how many miles in a day you want to do in a round trip so you look in the regions that surround you, plus as Roger said you have these sections to look at firstly the front page that has listings of up and coming events:

http://www.harley-davidson-hangout.com/

Informal
Ride outs, Meets, Bike Shows, Parties etc. that
are not in the formal Club Calendar

On that one above you would have seen the Surrey Swop Meet both there and in the Sussex Coasters region that you missed.

Keep in contact with the posts on the regions that surround you like I did with the May Day run to Hastings that I rode to from Watford.

The Ace Cafe have a yearly calendar in the Informal section and that includes runs to the coast that are a good day out from your area.
You are in Guildford so the south coast is a good choice as is the New Forest for a day out also the London region have had a couple of events that you could have gone to.

Re: Events listing

The last thing i want to do is try to upset someone who has given up their free time to manage a club forum.
It was just an observation & my opinion as a member of the club.
No worries.
