Just got back. I'm glad I didn't try for Carmarthen showground for the rally after all, it's pissing down in Wales and has all weekend; it will take Demelza and I till next week to dry out!

On a serious note; whilst the membership can be rightly proud of the turnout, another twenty who did only a tenth as much as Ken and the half-dozen other "rank and file" members, especially setting-up and taking down, would have made a huge difference and even avoided some of the downsides.

It's not just gate duty folks; and even there I shouldn't have had to ask for volunteers, I should have been worrying about having too many there.

More later when I've had a kip.
