Tesco Ollerton

I've just had an e-mail from the manager of the Tesco store at Ollerton - just a couple of miles from the International site. He'd like to thank you all for making his 'Tesco store of the month' and said his bonus should see him, the wife and kids having a nice holiday in Greece come October.

The only down side is that the catering manager is having to take a week off suffering from ' Full-Englishitis'

When I popped in to top up supplies for the site the place looked like an H-D Dealership

Re: Tesco Ollerton

Saw a couple pushing a trolley round with their helmets in only to be stopped by and old lady and asked "Where did you get them from dear"

We were backing out when an old man came tottering past just as i hit the start button, With a big grin he said "Ah they sound lovely".

Great store with easy parking.

Tesco, Mcdonalds, chip shops etc can all thank the extra low quality food on site, a new low.

At least the local community benefits........

Re: Tesco Ollerton

Not forgetting the Winner City chinese me and Linda had and excellent meal at on the way back from seeing my brother in Nottingham on Sunday night lovely food. And the Limes cafe we stopped at for breakfast this morning. Who cares about the on site crap (although sympathy for all those who suffered dodgy tums) the locals came up trumphs

Re: Tesco Ollerton

i headed off to tescos saturday afternoon, straight for the deli counter for a cooked chicken, only to find a swarm of vultures had already been there!!

i know i thinks , lets have a cold cooked chicken round to the cold meats counter and grapped ,one of the last three on the shelf-phew.

round to the bakery, same situation, flock of starlings had raided there, managed to blag the last crusty french baton

some poor frazzled shelf filler came up and said , we have heard there is a bike rally, up the road and "that the food is awfull, as fast as we are putting stuff out,you lot are clearing it".for me it was the comment of the weekend

just a suggestion, could the committee not link up with tescos so that our membership card , could double up as a swipe card for the clubcard points, it would things much easier in the future.
