I have to vote full face. But I have the Justissimo GT Flip Front Helmet It comes with an open front conversion kit. The chinbar can be removed in a couple of minutes. Only downsides for me. Its a bit noisy and at 3 figure speeds don't turn your head sideways it catches the wind!  Next helmet will probably be a Schuberth C3

Rode for years with open face, dug it out this week for the good weather and couldnt believe the wind noise, (probably the cause of my tinnitus) keeps yer speed down though! still got my roof but helmet of choice now is an Arai SZf - lighter and more visibility than the roof and the visor covers yer chin

i prefer to ride with open face got a davida speedster for short runs and posing, a HD ac3 (same as arai szf but cheaper) for long runs and posing and a viper v121 flip front for the jap. had a caberg jussimo for a while now suffer from tinitus in the left ear where the wind was coming thru the internal visor handle hole,gone in the bin now,the helmet not me ear

All of the above, depending on weather and length of journey. Full face in Winter, Roof boxer in Autumn/Spring, Roof open face in Summer and some kind of piss pot that probablly isn't legal anywhere for local rides when it's really hot. |
